Complementing the great role that the training center, workshops and laboratories represent in the progress of the Technological University. The training center and laboratories have completed the design, implementation and installation of the damaged parts in the memorial of the mural of the Technological University in front of the entrance to the University theater.. It is noteworthy that the engineers of the plumbing division at the center designed and implemented the mold necessary for the plumbing process, casting, manufacturing and completing the necessary finishes for the affected parts of this mural.This mural is a symbol of the University and a great sign of it and was erected with the foundation of the Technological University.

Based on the principle of scientific cooperation between the Technological University and various state departments and within the activities of the training center and workshops A specialized engineering training course was held on the preparation of the General Computer Machinery program (CNC) and maintenance of the Fanuc system For employees of the Ministry of oil / south refineries company (public company) for the period from 1- 12/ 9/ 2024 in the turning workshop of our center The course aims to explain and operate the main parts of the machine manually and automatically, and training on the methods of operating the machine in three ways manual, semi-automatic and automatic by writing the program and operating it on the machine, explaining the functions used in this and clarifying the emergency malfunctions on the control system and how to address them with regular maintenance of the machine.

للمرة السادسة الجامعة التكنولوجية ضمن افضل مسار مهني وبحثي لعلماء العالم للعام 2024 اصدرت جامعة ستانفورد الأمريكية احصائية لـ (افضل مسار مهني وبحثي لعلماء العالم للعام 2024) في 16 أيلول للعام 2024 اذ ادرجت جامعة ستانفورد الأمريكية 209 عالما من العراق ضمن أفضل 2% من علماء العالم وكان اللاستاذ الدكتور وسام حميد عليوي مدير المركز ضمن قائمة أفضل الباحثيين لعلماء العالم اعتمادا على التخصص العلمي والمسار البحثي والاستشهادات.

استقبل مركز التدريب والمعامل طلبة المراحل الاختصاص( المرحلة الثانية والمرحلة الثالثة) الفصل الثاني للعام الدراسي 2024/2025 للاقسام الهندسية (هندسة الميكانيكة وهندسة الانتاج والمعادن و هندسة المواد)  متمنياً لهم فصل دراسي ناجح والموفقية في حياتهم العملية والهندسية.
