His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, conducted a field tour in the training and workshops center at the University of Technology, and was briefed on all the center's training workshops in which students participate in the various stages of the scientific and engineering departments, as well as meeting with students, listening to them, and taking souvenir photos with them.

Within the continuous endeavor to advance the reality of education in our dear country, a delegation from Warith Al-Anbiya University, represented by the university president, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, visited Accompanying the Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies and the Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs of the University of Technology/ the training and workshops center, The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Wissam  Hamid alawee, Director of the Center The visit included a field visit by the delegation to the laboratories and engineering workshops at the center In order to draw a map of direct scientific cooperation between the two universities in general and the College of Engineering in particular It is noteworthy that this visit included the signing of a memorandum of scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities The agreement included a number of points, including cooperation in the field of summer training in the center's workshops.

Within the series of specialized courses for engineers and technicians for all state departments, which are held by the training and workshops center, a course entitled (Maintenance and Operation of Cloning Devices of All Kinds) was implemented. Participants received theoretical and practical lectures. Participants who successfully passed the course were awarded a certificate of participation.

The University Committee for Summer Training held its first meeting for the academic year 2022/2023, it was led by Prof. Khawla Salah Khashan, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies And Prof. Dr. Wessam Hammed alawee, Director of the Training Center and Laboratories Director of the Training and Workshops Center and In the presence of members of the University Committee in the scientific and engineering departments The committee discussed the most important matters related to summer training, and at the end of the meeting, the committee made recommendations and decisions that deal with matters related to summer training.
