As part of the center's continuous efforts to maintain and rehabilitate the machines and equipment that stopped working in our center by the hands of professors and technicians from the casting division and rebuild the hydraulic furnace by their own efforts, this furnace is also very important in the research by graduate students and faculty members and equipping the turning division in our center with the products required by the manufacturer in the center.

The team of the department of production and Minerals Engineering won first place the impact of his victory on the Department of Materials Engineering at the conclusion of the Technological University football championship for teachers Individual and team awards were distributed to the winners by each of Prof. Dr. Wessam Hammed alawee, Director of the training and workshops center.

Dr. Wissam Hamed Aliawi, director of the training and workshops Center, met with the Joint Scientific Committee of the scientific and engineering departments supervising the training at the center During the meeting, organizational issues related to the training of students from the first and advanced stages were discussed, an agreement was reached on a cooperative working formula that facilitates the supervision of trainee students at the center.the center director urged the supervisors to follow up with the students on an ongoing basis and clarify the exam instructions for the training lesson for new students to make the most of the practical training curricula. the meeting was attended by the training director and Registration Director of the center, and all representatives of the scientific and engineering departments.

the training and workshops center received a number of teachers and students of the University of Baghdad/ Faculty of administration and economics/ industrial management department with a scientific field visit, where the students were briefed on all the center's workshops and explain the basic idea and principle of work of each workshop This visit came to inform the students about how the equipment and machines work in our center's workshops especially since the majority of students attending are the target group of this visit.
